About WWW
White Water Women is determined to give women their best chance of success at work by equipping them with the skills, the attitudes and the confidence to make it to the top in their careers. We do this through really effective programmes and affordable, focused coaching.
Women are smart. Yet despite the fact that:
- All the research shows the benefit of gender balance at board and senior levels
- Women make up 50% of the population and account for 60% of graduates worldwide
- Women have increasing disposable income, are the main purchasers or influencers of purchasing
There are still very few women in senior positions.
Every time a woman decides to leave or to stick at her current level, talent is being wasted. Our economy cannot afford that. We can’t wait for this to get better over time because it just won’t happen fast enough. We need women to realise their own ambitions. Then, once they reach more senior positions they can begin to change the system and make the workplace a more attractive proposition for other women.
At White Water Women we carried out research to discover what women really want in order to succeed and certain things came out loud and clear:
- Confidence to take some risks and put themselves forward
- Presence and Gravitas so they are heard at work
- Career Planning so that they can positively manage the stages and phases of their lives rather than just doing a good job and hoping for the best
- Resilience so they can cope with the stress when often leaving work to go home and do the night shift
Our programmes are designed for and about women. They are tuned into the way women think and learn. Their aim is to allow women to bring their unique range of talents to work in an authentic female way rather than making them pretend to be men.
White Water Women, is a sister company to White Water Strategies, a firm known for its leadership work with executive talent. All that knowledge of how organisations work, who gets to the top and how they do it, is put to good use in enabling women to succeed.
